Solomon Research & Analytics ("we", "us") operates solomonra.com. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is deliberately short, because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you complete the contact form we receive your name, work email address, organization, organization type, an optional phone number, and whatever you write in the message field.
- Basic usage data. We use Google Analytics and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand which pages people read and how they found us. These set cookies and record things like your approximate location, browser, and the pages you visit. They do not tell us who you are.
Why we collect it
Form submissions are used for one purpose: to reply to you and, if it goes further, to scope and deliver work. Usage data is used to understand whether this website is doing its job.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
Who processes it
- Netlify hosts this website and processes contact form submissions.
- Google Analytics provides aggregate traffic reporting.
- LinkedIn provides advertising and traffic measurement through its Insight Tag.
- Google Workspace holds the email we exchange with you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within two years. Records connected to client work are retained for seven years, which is the period our professional and tax obligations require. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@solomonra.com and we will respond within 30 days.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and you can manage LinkedIn tracking in your LinkedIn advertising settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.
Children
This website is intended for professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
